Polly Dunbar is this weeks Motivation Monday. She's studied illustration at Brighton University and has created some truley charming books with Walker including the fantastic My Dad's a Birdman which is beautifully written by David Almond, Penguin and the gorgeously produced Tilly and Friends books. In 2008, Dunbar was featured in The Times's list of The best new picture book illustrators.

I wanted Polly to participate in Motivation Monday because I love her whimsical illustration style and seeing her rough sketches with all their spontaneity and life certainly doesn't dissapoint.
