Bella and Monty - Alex T. Smith

Bella and Monty is a new series of picture books published by Hodder Children's Books in 2009 and illustrated by Alex T. Smith. 

I'm a big fan of Alex T. Smith's illustrations, he's got just the right amount of graphic aesthetic without being being something that children wouldn't pick up. Smith takes a 'scratchy' approach to his drawings, using some textures and digital collage bits.
